Magdalene Home exists to give homeless teen girls who are pregnant or parenting a safe and supervised place to live. The girls must attend high school, learn parenting and life skills, and set realistic goals for themselves and their children. Magdalene Home is founded on Christian teachings about the God-given dignity and value of every human life. Our doors are open to any girl in need, without regard to race or religion.
We support all facets of a young mother’s life by offering a loving home, emotional support, training in life skills such as cooking, shopping, financial planning, parenting, prenatal and postnatal care, and much more.
The young mothers who stay at Magdalene Home are required to attend high school, including summer classes, participate, in-training held at Magdalene Home, work with community services such as Healthy Start and WIC, and to set realistic goals for their future.
Magdalene Home is a pro-life home supported by financial contributions from individuals and local foundations in the community. We receive NO government funds.
