Our Mission

Magdalene Home exists to give homeless teen girls who are pregnant, parenting, or considering adoption a safe and supervised place to live. Our nonprofit home is founded on Christian teachings regarding the God-given dignity and value of every human life. Our doors are open to any girl in need, ages 14 through 19, without regard to race or religion.

We are committed to providing physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual support for pregnant or parenting teen girls who are homeless or abused. We emphasize life and parenting skills, realistic goal setting to encourage wellness and the healthy development of mothers and their children.

We support all facets of a young mother’s life by offering a loving home, emotional support, training in life skills such as cooking, shopping, financial planning, parenting, prenatal and postnatal care, and much more.

The young mothers who stay at Magdalene Home are required to attend high school, including summer classes, participate, in-training held at Magdalene Home, work with community services such as Healthy Start and WIC, and to set realistic goals for their future.

Magdalene Home is a pro-life home supported by financial contributions from individuals and local foundations in the community. We receive NO government funds.
